Bringing the Outside IN.

That about as much as I know. I’m sitting in my office doing work, minding my own business, and I hear a truck drive by. Pretty normal day except for the sound of what might have been the truck hitting a utility pole. Next thing I know Im going from the rapture of getting deep […]

I was always in the mindset that you should always comment your code. It makes it easier to go back in later on and figure out what you’re doing to power the site, easier for someone else to reverse engineer it should something happen to you or the business arrangement, and it allows for freeware […]

Yahoo Small Business – If you have a single web minded person in your company do them a favor and DO NOT use yahoo small business. Their backend panel is an absolute mess.
I’m pretty savy with DNS, .htacess, and server side redirects; some of the people working in the tech center trying to guide me […]

I was asked this the other day. My immediate response was something a kin to “everyone should blog if they have something interesting and relevant to say”. Seth Godin makes a pretty good case against CEO blogging saying
“Here’s the problem. Blogs work when they are based on:
Candor
Urgency
Timeliness
Pithiness and
Controversy

I know this is the story for everyone this time of year, but sheesh, for me its been crazy. My hat is off to people who blog on a daily (or more) basis. Its hard work to stay on it.
My only excuse would be that in December I’ve signed 5 new clients, launched 3 sites, […]

Id like to announce the launch of FreedomFromAlcohol.com.
This has been a tremendous learning experience for me in managing human resources as well as utilizing with new technology to achieve our goals.
There is still much to do, but like all sites it’s a work in progress.

I found this on YouTheDesigner. Oh so true.
I laughed at some; cried at others.
Thought it would be interesting for others to read and add to.
1. Wanting Great Designs for Cheap Prices
Because everyone seems to have Photoshop and know a designer nowadays, many clients tend to have a bad idea of what design is worth. While […]

Update on HitTails:
Wow. This program is awesome. It analyzes the data in real time and makes logical suggestions of relevant word groups or phases based upon your site’s long tail. It has a pretty narrow focus, I mean its sort of a one trick pony, but it’s a heck of a trick.
The program has given […]
